About the NJ Phantoms

The New Jersey Phantoms is the first wheelchair basketball team in NJ for over twenty years. Our varsity team's practice and games are open to all ages and genders. You don't need a basketball wheelchair to join. Representation matters! Half our leadership team are wheelchair users, including our coach, and more than half of our leadership identify as members of the disability community. We are members of the NWBA's East Coast Regional teams and, having officially started practicing in March 2025, we are working our way up to competitions as early as early 2026. All the proceeds from our merch shop goes to support the team.
